This traditional ‘Balsama Bianco’ from Modena, is handcrafted by the highly acclaimed artisan family producer of Leonardi. Made using the “must” (juice) of white Trebbiano grapes, estate grown in the local Modena region, it is then cooked and aged in oak barrels for a period of up to 6 years. Often called ‘white balsamic’, this is an excellent alternative to white wine vinegar, with added sweet balsamic notes and a golden colour.
